Bigmouth Strikes Again
With the closing chapter of the three nomadic vampires, its the beginning of a new saga. Theres a new vampire family in town-- and they aren't vegetarian. People from all over have gone missing, and Bella's afraid that its her that they want. After all, she's the only human in history that's infiltrated the supernatural world... or is she? Among the new family is a woman named Adalyn, and she was once a human, like Bella, who ultimately chose the path of eternal life. This gives Edward and Bella a little more hope... But her story didn't exactly have a happy ending.
Adalyn and her family of Romanov's aren't the veggie kind; and on top of that, they want to not only eradicate the Cullen's, but they want to take care of the Werewolves, and Bella, especially. Everyone is in danger now, and who knows how long the fight will take to start... and who knows when the fight will end. They call on the Volturi for help, but will they answer? Caius, and Marcus don't see them as a threat. The Denali's come to help, as well as all their other friends from all over the world. But will it be enough to stop the Romanov's from reigning? Only time will tell.

Dark clouds were gathering in the sky. The young girl turned her bright blue eyes up to the sky; it looked like it was going to rain. The wind blew through the trees, scattering leaves onto the ground below. Aalesia wandered slowly through the trees, brushing leaves from her hair. She was new here, to Forks, and she was exploring the forest knowing she would be here as often as she could. She barely felt the wind as it blew over her burning skin. With a sigh, she sat down, crossed her legs on the grass, and started shredding the leaves around her. Closing her eyes she inhaled deeply. She could smell the plants and the dirt and the rain in the air. With a deep sigh, she let out her breath and dropped the last of the leaf she had been holding. Standing up, she could feel the tension in her limbs. She had been so nervous about moving here. . .
She smiled. She knew exactly how to loosen herself out. Looking around she didn’t see anyone but ducked into the bushes, just in case. She moved quickly, with practiced motions, as she pulled off her clothes, stuffing them in her bag, and transformed. When she first changed, she had lost so many clothes to her sporadic shifting. As soon as she was a wolf she felt better. She shook out her fur and trotted out of the bushes. She was tall, growing at an extraordinary rate. Shifting on her legs she felt herself out, hmm, she was even bigger than she had thought.
Shrugging her huge shoulders, she broke into a trot and weaved through the trees. The blackened leather bag bumped against her legs and her oversized paws pounded against grass as she ran. Suddenly, she felt her front paws tangle and she jerked forward, trying to catch her balance. Her body twisted as she tried not to fall on her face and she landed hard on her shoulder. Damn! she snarled, pushing herself to her feet. Frustrated, she shook the dirt from her fur. Why, why did she have to be so damn clumsy? It was embarrassing and annoying. She could feel the frustration building up in her chest, Calm down, Les! Deep, slow breaths. One. . . Two. . . Three. . . She stood still, her eyes closed, and tried to calm herself down.

It felt as if Raen's nose was on fire. In a split second, she went from just hunting, to stalking. The stench stunk, overpowering all the rest of her senses. With swift movement, she was off. Besides, there were no people in sight, anyway. It would be much more... interesting, to see what this other smell was. Wrinkling said nose, she shot off in the direction the trail led off to. Who knew weres still lived in times like these? Vampire, of course, were never leaving this world. But the over sized mongrels were said to have been extinct. Last time she checked, anyway. Pulling back her long black tresses, she stopped at a tree.
The smell was recent, which could only mean one thing. The beast was still in the forest. Not knowing she was trespassing on La Push boundaries, she sped off again, watching as the trees, and the ground simply disappear before her eyes. Raen simply loved the danger. If she was in trouble, it would only stimulate her senses so much, that it felt like an adrenaline rush. Shaking her head, a dim smile on her face, her orbs squinted. She was close, Raen could feel it. With a long, deliberate sigh, she could feel that it would begin rain soon. That would wash most of the trail away.
That would make her mad, if it did. She picked up the pace, her legs running faster than her brain could register. And then she was face the face with the beast ... herself? Shaking her head, she must have been mistaken. Hiding herself behind a tree, Raen knew she would be able to sense her. If the legends were true, she stunk as much as the opposing party. That would make her day, really. Besides, the trip from Alaska was a boring one. And she was almost to her destination of Forks, but, this little detail would be... more than amusing to her. Prodding the tree, she waited for the other to detect her presence.
It wouldn't take long, she knew. But the anticipation was more than she could possibly bare. Would she try to attack Raen? Well, that wouldn't be much fun at all! If anyone was going to make the first move, Raen knew she wanted to be that person. Stepping out from behind the clearing, to the wolf who, obviously was confused herself... she smiled. "Hey, little beastie. What are your kind still doing around?" She was interested, really. Maybe the thing could talk. Raen hadn't ever met a Werewolf, so, she didn't know much about them.

She let her breath out with a little huff and shook herself. When she was angry she sometimes didn’t see things and, being as nonobservant as she already was, she couldn’t afford to be upset. Finally calmed down, she inhaled deeply, noting everything that was near here. She took a couple of steps forward when the scent hit her. The smell was so cold it burned her sensitive nose. Rearing back in shock, she growled and shook her head violently. What was a vampire doing here? They weren’t supposed to be on this side of the line. Pulling herself together she focused, looking and listening for the vampire. Before she could move the vampire stepped out from behind one of the trees. Aalesia turned to face the vampire, tensing and watching her warily.
”Hey, little beastie. What are your kind still doing around?” Her ears twitched as the vampire spoke. She had a smile on her face and Les let out a warning growl. This vampire was new and Les didn’t trust her, though, she looked. . . curious. Watching the vampire carefully, she backed up into the bushes. She needed to know why the vampire was here and she couldn’t talk while she was in her wolf form. When she was sure she was completely hidden, she phased and quickly pulled her clothes on. Pulling her hair into a ponytail, she walked quickly back to the vampire, making sure to stand a good distance away. Sliding her hands into the pockets of her jeans she eyed the vampire cautious and curiously.
“Why are you here, vampire?” Aalesia tilted her head to the left slightly, as she spoke. As she waited for an answer she studied the girl. She had long, raven colored hair and her eyes were the golden, toffee color of the vampires that fed on animal blood. That was interesting. Idly, Les wondered how the other wolves would react, if they were in her position. It was doubtful that they would be as patient as Les was.

Snorting, raen took a slow step back. But then thinking, well damn. She was human now. No longer the giant mutt she'd seen seconds earlier. It didn't take Raen long to notice this, though, and a small smile steadied across her face. Flashing those deadly pearly whites. "I followed your scent, of course." And then she must have realized she was in the wrong territory, at the wrong time. She'd been lucky to only run into one of these mutated mongrels. Now, she stunk even worse. Wrinkling her nose, she swatted fresh air towards herself. What else was there to say? Well, if this thing was aware of vampires, maybe it would be aware of the Cullen's.
Well, it wouldn't hurt to ask, right? "Do you know where the Cullen's live? I lost their scent back by the Makah range." Meaning, they didn't hunt far. But what brought her to this forest, was the wolves scent. Nodding her head, she figured she'd have to use her ... compulsion, on the thing. If she didn't give up vital information, that is. Glowering red eyes dug into the others. She would tell her, even if it cost her her like. Raen liked that idea the best. She hadn't fed, and well... even though this things blood wouldn't taste so yummy, she'd kill her anyway.
But the nomadic vampire was feeling... nice today. Or as nice as the woman ever felt, while in the company of a werewolf. She hadn't quite let down her guard, and wouldn't do so, until the wolf girl was gone. But now, she was taken a back by THAT thought, too. And she HAAAD to ask. "You're a girl, right? I thought the wolf gene only passed on to the males." It didn't make sense to her that she was one of the children of the moon. As far as she knew, those types couldn't phase back into a human. When bitten by one of those...
Raen shuddered. And realized, she had to stop breathing. NOW. Her scent was starting to get to her, worse with every passing moment. It burned through her nostrils, and made her crouch down defensively, without her limbs telling her that were doing so. Snarling, she backed up towards the tree. Sure, she wasn't a newborn. And she had more control than most... but the scent. It was pulsing through her. Raen's being ached to attack. But she forced herself to cease. If she wanted a shot with the Cullen's she'd have to control her impulses.
And word through the grapevine stated they had a truce with these.. things. These dogs. So, this would be perfect practice for her. Taking a long, deep, sigh, she backed up again. Farther this time. Waiting for the girl to answer her questions, before she tossed another barrel full on her.
